What is reverse dieting?

It’s the opposite of what we think of when we think of the word diet. Dieting carries the connotation of restriction, eating less, fewer calories. So with reverse dieting we do the opposite. It’s gradually increasing calories in order to jumpstart your metabolism.

Why would you want to speed up your metabolism with reverse dieting? Its a long list, so here we go!

How do you start reverse dieting?

This is where a nutrition coach can help.  The coach looks at your current caloric intake and macronutrient breakdown along with your activity level to determine where to start. Then the calories are gradually increased.
